How to
add a bottle to the cellar
Go to the wine detail screen
Tap either:
Add a cellar and vintage
or an existing cellar entry.
This takes you to the Cellar screen.
Tap bottles to change the bottle count.
Tap Bin to enter bin identifier.
The Bin identifier is your designation for where the wine is located in your cellar.
It can be any combination of letters and numbers.
How to
add a photo
Go to the wine detail screen
Tap the box with Add Photo in it.
If there is a photo in the box, you must delete it before replacing it.
Delete a photo
How to
add a producer to Contacts
Go to the wine detail screen
Tap the producer's name
This takes you to the producer edit screen.
Tap Contacts.
This will add the producer to your Contacts or,
if the producer is already in your contacts,
let you review and edit the producer contact information.
How to
add a tasting
Tastings are a part of the cellar and vintage information for a wine.
To add a tasting, go to the wine detail screen
Tap either:
Add cellar and vintage
or an existing cellar entry.
This takes you to the Cellar screen.
Tap Add tasting to add your tasting information.

Add a wine on the Home screen
or the plus sign in the upper-right corner of most screens.
Enter wine name, producer, and style.

Tap the Share button
Send the wine to yourself and save it on your desktop computer.
When you receive the email on your desktop computer, save the attachment. This is your wine backup.

Tap Info
on the Home screen to go to the Info screen
Tap the Support button in the Info screen. An email addressed to Support will appear.
Enter your question or comment and tap Send. You will get a reply as soon as The Grand Poohbah can get to it, usually within 24 hours.

delete a bin
A bin is automatically deleted when all the bottles that are in that bin are removed.

The bin is restored when you add one or more bottles to the bin.

Go to the wine detail screen
Swipe right over the cellar in the list
Tap the Delete button.

Go to the wine detail screen
containing the photo you want to delete.
Tap the photo.
The photo will expand and a trash can will appear at the bottom-right of the photo.
Tap the trash can to delete the photo.

Tap Producer on the Home screen.
If the producer has no wines, you can swipe it to delete the producer.
You cannot delete a producer if you have any wines (with or without bottles) from that producer.

You can delete a style name when you enter a new wine or

Tap the style for the new or existing wine.
Tap the Edit Styles button.
Swipe the style name to delete it.

Swipe left over an existing cellar entry.
A Duplicate button will appear.
Tap the Duplicate button to create a duplicated cellar entry.
Tap the duplicated cellar entry to make any changes. Tastings are not included in the duplicate.

How to
edit a style
You can edit a style name when you enter a new wine or
when you tap the style for an existing wine.
Tap the style for the new or existing wine.
Tap the Edit Styles button.
Tap the style name to edit it.
Modifying a style name will not change the wines which already have that style name.

Email the attachment for the saved wine to your iOS device. Click on the email attachment on your iOS device
and open it in Wine Master. You will see the wine in a Preview. Save it.

search notes
Tap Search Notes on the Home screen.
Tap in the search phrase area and enter the search text.
Tap Cellar, Tasting, or Both to to select which notes to search.
A list of wines containing the search phrase will appear.
Tap a wine in the list to see the wine detail.
Tip: you can tap Cellar, Tasting, or Both after searching to change the search context without re-entering the search text.
How to
skip a Shared Wine
Tap Shared Wines on the Home screen.
A list of shared wines will appear.
Swipe right to skip seeing a wine again.
Wines saved from the list are automatically skipped in the future.

use favorites
To mark a wine as a favorite, go to the wine's detail screen
and tap the Favorite button
To see your favorites, go to the Home screen, tap Wines and
tap the Favorites button .
How to
use a suggestion
When you are entering text and see the suggestion button,
a suggested entry may be next to it.
Tap the suggestion button to accept it.
Tip: you can edit the suggestion after accepting it.
A suggestion may appear when entering a wine name, a producer name, a bin name, or a region
and is drawn from the contents of your database.
What is
the red number?
The red number is shown in the wine listing,
and is an average of all the taste ratings for this wine. Ratings of "0" are not included in the average.

The star indicates that you have marked this wine as a Favorite.

The blue number is the number of bottles in your cellar.
